Every Wednesday evening San Leandrans parade along Parrott Street to pick
up produce fresh from the farm. The weekly Farmers’ Market is delivering goods,
from produce to cooking demonstrations and wine tastings. Last week, musical
entertainment was provided by The Backbeat, performing hits by The Beatles.
Richard Carrillo had plenty of business at his booth for Nursery Organic Farms.
The Farmers’ Market will continue for three more Wednesdays before the season

The city's downtown farmers’ market opened with a bang Wednesday to an
